Italian Impressionist Animalier bronze sculpture of a turkey made by Emilio Sala. The piece has a low tray incorporated in the base in front of the turkey and can be used as a vide-poche. Emilio 'Elia' Sala (1864-1920) was an Italian-born sculptor and painter who spent most of his working life in Kiev, where he collaborated on the architectural sculpture program for many public and private buildings, including the famed house with chimaeras.
